So, i was getting bored listening to our philo 30 lecture, and since i didn't have any form of amusement like someone to talk to or an MP3 player of some sort, I tried to wonder off(nope, no i didn't sleep) and then i remembered the song Polyrhythm, i liked the songs beat and its lyrics(not to mention the dancing part) so it played in my head for about 3 times i was inspired by the lyrics then i got to thinking, so I grabbed my pen and wrote this at the back of my notebook:
"A world of loneliness and hopelesness, unknown to the feeling of human warmth and compassion. This is the world that I was born into. The last of my kind, is it cowardice to face death by my own hands? who would care for my death? Who would bother looking for me? Questions which I know the answers yet I am unable comprehend. As I lay here surrounded by millions of debris and rubble, loneliness engulfs me like a blackhole. As i stare at the orange sunset tears fall from my eyes and pain fills my heart for I know that I am sentenced to an eternity of isolation with only the sun, moon, stars and the millions of debris to accompany me."
I know it doesn't make sense and its a bit "emo" as they put it, but I just felt like posting this, this is actually the very first thing written at the back of my notebook that I shared. And if you were wondering, yes it was that boring. lolz
I would also like to post one of my favorite quotes, its from Captain Corelli's Mandolin, i have never read or watched the movie but this quote was shared in a forum that a frequently visit really made sense to me.
"When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. No... don't blush. I am telling you some truths. For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away. Doesn't sound very exciting, does it? But it is! "
